Did you know?
Apocynum venetum is a plant known since ancient times in China as “Loubuma,” whose leaves are used to prepare tea. It is a small herbaceous shrub native to Asia and southeastern Europe, surprisingly resistant to drought and stress (sand, wind, salt). Its pharmacological properties have been demonstrated: it has antihypertensive, cardiotonic, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, lipid-lowering, antidepressant, and anxiolytic effects. The natural fiber derived from the shrub is used for weaving together with cotton.
