A two-faced coin (1) (PK)

Beauty and the beast

Only 182 km separate two very different locations on the Arabian Sea coast of Balochistan: Gwadar and the Buzi Makola Wildlife Sanctuary.

Gwadar with its unique hammerhead location in the middle two large bays and blend of cultures aims at becoming a world famous business trade hub, with huge infrastructure developments started in the last 20 years, now under the patronage of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC): a modern deep-sea port and possibly the 1400 km Trans Afghan Pipeline (TAP).

The Buzi Makola Wildlife Sanctuary, a buzz free sea inlet, heaven for migratory birds from Russia and Siberia, looking from space like a gorgeous tree with a wealthy and resilient bunch of roots.
